Adding Alt Text to Images in Wix (Individual)

To add Alt Text to individual images in Wix:

1. From your dashboard, click on Site Actions > Edit Site
2. Select the image you want to edit
3. Click on Settings (the cog icon)
4. Find the field What’s in the image? Tell Google and enter your alt text
5. Close the popup and click Publish on the top right of the screen

Adding Alt Text to Images in Wix (Gallery)

To add Alt Text to gallery images in Wix:

1. From your dashboard, click on Site Actions > Edit Site
2. Select the gallery you want to edit
3. Click on Change Images
4. Select the image you want to edit
5. Find the field Title (alt text) and enter your alt text
6. Close the popup and click Publish on the top right of the screen

• Choose one focus keyword for the page the image is on and add it as an alt tag to your image
• Be descriptive
• Make sure your alt tag is unique
• Avoid adding ‘picture of’ or ‘photo of’
