On July 18th Google announced a new, exciting feature for its Google Analytics product. You can now ask Google Analytics questions about your data as if you were asking a friend or colleagues. For example, if you want to check how many users visited your website last week, you can go the old way (Audience > Visitors) or simply ask Google this simple question: ‘how many users visited my website last week?’
This new feature uses the same natural language processing technology available across other Google products. It is part of Analytics Intelligence, a set of machine learning tools to help you better and quicker understand and act on your data. This new way of gathering insights about your website can also be automated.
